Community Grant

Positive change starts here.

For the fifth consecutive year, Relish Ideas Inc. has committed to allocating a minimum of $20,000 in pro bono services for one or more organizations that are dedicated to making an impact.

Relish’s Community Grant offers an incredible opportunity to rejuvenate and transform your organization.

This grant is tailored to support organizations driven by a sense of purpose in improving their branding and communication efforts, expanding their outreach, securing funding, and championing their causes.

Grant recipients embark on a year-long collaboration with Relish, which may encompass a range of integrated services such as marketing strategy development, copywriting, brand enhancement, prototyping, website, software and app development, video production, collateral creation, and environmental design.

What change can we make together?

2022 Grant Recipient

In 2022, we awarded our grant to Thrive Community Support Circle, a diverse nonprofit dedicated to inclusive services, empowerment, and community growth. They offer one-on-one counselling, group programs, and operate a Thrift Shop benefiting over 20,000 families near Winnipeg’s downtown core.

“I would like to express my thankfulness to the Relish team. The way you embraced this project was outstanding and the feedback only proves this very point. Your understanding, your dedication and collaboration is truly appreciated and respected. From all our hearts to yours.”

Thrive Community Support Circle

2021 Grant Recipient

Our 2021 grant recipient was Heartwood Healing Centre (formally The Laurel Centre). This non-profit agency provides long term trauma therapy – free of charge – to adults who have experienced sexual abuse in childhood or adolescence. In 2010, with the merging of The Laurel Centre and Men’s Resource Centre, the organization was due for a brand review.

“Relish’s Community Grant we received from Relish was truly a game changer for us. In 2020, as part of our 3-year strategic plan, we identified the need to increase our profile and presence in the community. A big part of this was recognizing the need to refresh our brand to better reflect our future. Thanks to their amazing team, we have a new name and a refreshed brand that tells a meaningful story of who we are. Change is hard but their dedication, support, guidance, and patience gave us the confidence we needed to navigate this process. A huge THANK YOU to Relish for your creativity, hard work and guidance.”

2020 Grant Recipient

The recipient for our 2020 Community Grant was Toba Centre for Children & Youth (formally Snowflake Place). Toba Centre is Manitoba’s only Children’s Advocacy Centre that offers a central community model for victims of child abuse. They are designed to facilitate multi-system collaboration and foster best practices in child abuse investigations to ensure that victims receive sensitive and immediate support in a setting that puts their needs first.

“Thank you, Relish! At Snowflake Place we are so grateful for having been the recipient of Relish’s Community Grant! It was a game-changer. Not only is the team at Relish extraordinarily talented, they really took the time to learn about our work, and they care. They have gone above and beyond, and their work has helped us lay the foundation for a whole new beginning.”
