Designing for Decision-Makers
The Background
Telpay, Canada’s largest independent electronic payments company, partnered with Relish to redesign its website to better support business growth. While Telpay’s platform is trusted for secure, integrated payments, its existing site needed to more clearly guide key audiences –accountants, bookkeepers, finance teams, and business owners – toward meaningful actions such as demo requests and signups. The goal was to align the digital experience with Telpay’s strengths: efficiency, reliability, and seamless integration.

The Opportunity
Relish identified an opportunity to strengthen conversions through clearer user journeys, role-based navigation, and evidence-driven UX improvements. The new site introduces audience-specific entry points, simplified navigation, and concise messaging focused on time savings and system compatibility.
UX testing with real users informed refinements to booking flows, forms, and integration pages – reducing friction, clarifying labels, and improving visual hierarchy around key calls to action. Integration content was restructured to clearly communicate compatibility with platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Adagio, reinforcing trust and ease of adoption for decision-makers.
The Result
The redesigned website delivers a more intuitive, conversion-focused experience that moves users efficiently from discovery to engagement. Outcomes include increased demo requests, stronger engagement with integration content, and a smoother journey for high-intent users. Grounded in UX testing and conversion optimization, Telpay’s new digital presence now reflects its brand promise: simple, secure, and trusted payments for Canadian businesses.
